What if all love stories told a story of love? For 2021, the Abbaye de Daoulas has decided to explore the universal concept of love. It aims to show how love has evolved in both the Christian and Muslim worlds, and how these different cultures have shaped and influenced the other. The result is a common or shared story of love that is both passionate and unexpected.
Through this exhibition focusing on the theme and stories of love as told in both East and West, the Abbaye de Daoulas has chosen to draw on the foundations of our culture to shed light on romantic relationships in a world undergoing profound change.
