Opening hours

From 1 January to 7 May and from 1 November to 31 December: reception and vegetable garden closed
From 8 May to 31 June and 1 September to 31 October: Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm
From 1 July to 31 August: Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm
Free entry to the grounds all year, except during shows and concerts.
Abbey-church closed for renovation work until June 2015
Reopening of the site: Saturday, April 26, 2025
Reopening of the vegetable garden: Saturday, May 10, 2025
with the exhibition At the Foot of My Tree, the eco-exploration space, and the mini kitchen.
Open year-round for groups, by reservation.

Every day, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Except July 14, 21, 22, and 28: open from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday, August 15: Due to the Pardon du Relec festivities, access to the abbey church may be disrupted.

⟩ The park is open year-round with free access.

In case of a weather alert: If the Finistère department is placed under an orange wind warning, the site and its park will be closed for safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding. Please don’t hesitate to call us before your visit.

| How to get here?
(17 km south of Morlaix)
Take the N12 (expressway) between Morlaix and Brest, then exit at Sainte-Sève / Quimper. Continue on the D785. In Plounéour-Ménez, at the intersection, take the D111 towards Le Cloître-Saint-Thégonnec and Abbaye du Relec.

● The Shop
A wide selection of books and items about vegetable gardening, heritage, poetry, nature, and Brittany.
Sale of flowers, seeds, and local artisan products. Also offers specific items for long-distance hiking.

● The Abbey Café
Enjoy a variety of hot or cold drinks and pastries (granola bars, cookies, etc.) from local suppliers, along with light meals.

● Picnic tables available

● Toilets and a baby changing table

Pets on a leash are only allowed in the park.

Access for visitors with reduced mobility

● Drop-off area available near the abbey
● One designated parking space for people with reduced mobility
● A wheelchair and walking seat-sticks available on request at the reception
● The reception is equipped with a counter hearing loop (T-position)
● The reception/ticket office/shop, the exhibition, and part of the abbey church are wheelchair accessible
● Some paths in the park are accessible for wheelchair users
● The paths to the vegetable garden are grassy and sloped
● Toilets at the reception are adapted for people with reduced mobility
